Facilitating Digital Inclusion In Idaho
Advancing digital equity in Idaho through strategic partnerships, providing no-cost assistance for ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
My commitment to digital equity in Idaho is a cornerstone of Amoureux AT Consulting. Since 2017, following my departure from the Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, I have proudly maintained a strategic partnership with the Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP). This collaboration is rooted in a shared vision for a truly accessible Idaho.
Through this long-standing partnership, I am privileged to provide specialized technical assistance and training under the critical ICT (Information and Communication Technology) grant. My role is dedicated to equipping Idaho's state and local government entities, along with their non-profit partners, with the expertise to confidently navigate and implement digital accessibility best practices.
This effort has fostered a vibrant Community of Practice, an invaluable network dedicated to digital inclusion. This community has evolved from the State Web Accessibility Team, to the Idaho Digital Accessibility Consortium (IDAC), and is now proudly known as A11y Idaho. We believe in fostering collaboration and shared learning to achieve collective impact across the state.
